Halloween Pull Card

I'm back at it with the Sweet Treat Centers.  I just have so much fun with these!  This is a card where you make a tag that lifts up to reveal the treats.  That way you don't have to dismantle your beautiful card to get to the candy!  There is a tutorial for this on Mike's blog. He calls it a Re-Treat.  Teehee!

The background stamp on the front of the card is from Circle Circus.  That's another stamp set I can't stop using.  The inside of the card is wheeled with the Haunting HIll jumbo wheel from the Holiday mini and the ghost is from Batty From You, one of my long time faves.

We have a soccer filled weekend.  We have nice sunny skies, but not too hot.  Great soccer weather!  What's on your agenda for the weekend?

Magical

I saw this wonderful tutorial on JanTink's blog for the Marvelous Magical Marquee card.  How fun!  This is my Halloween version of it.  We made this in my stamp clubs in September.  We discovered that the opening flaps work much better if you use cardstock instead of designer paper.  Such a fun concept for a card!

Whooo's at your door?

When I first saw the Stampin' Up! Sizzix Lattice die, this is what I had in mind.  To die cut it repeatedly and layer it together as a background on scrapbook pages.  I was happy with the result on this page.

This is my daughter and her friends Trick-or-treating last year. They were in 9th grade and didn't put much effort into dressing up.  They just put their school sweatshirts on with the black face paint under the eyes.  She has said this was her last year trick or treating for at least the last 3 years.  I really think this one was it.  I shouldn't talk though.  I went trick or treating as a junior in high school. I wanted that candy!  lol.

Happy Pumpkins

Yep, another card from the Twick or Tweet stamp set!  Now that we have our end of summer bbq out of the way I'm thinking about pulling the Halloween decorations out.  I can't wait!

Halloween Treats

What a crazy week!  We've had the bus not show up, my youngest get on the wrong bus home, soccer games, soccer practice, parent meetings, and on and on.  The only stamping I've done is to finish up a swap.  This is a card I made a couple weeks back with the Sweet Centers stamp set and the Sweet Treat Cups.  I just love these things!

It's never too early for Halloween!

Halloween is right up there with Christmas in favorite holidays for me.  When given the Scrap and Stamp challenge of making a page with a holiday theme, other than Christmas, it wasn't hard for me to choose.

I wanted to put a border around the designer paper but didn't want to use the scallop border or eyelet border punch.  Those would be too frilly for this page.  So I punched around all four sides with my spiral edge punch.  This is the border punch I use when making a masculine card or something less frilly.  I love the result of this!

Monster cards

Aren't these Halloween monster cards the cutest?  I CASE'd the idea for these from Gretchen Barron and from rochellee on Splitcoaststampers.  I tweaked some of them again and made them my own.

I'm offering these as a mom and me class next Wednesday, Oct.15 from 1:00 to 3:00. We're off the whole week here in Minnesota so I thought this would be a fun class to do with your kids. More fun projects!

I've been having fun cooking up monsters in my laboratory! I made these fun boxes with Kristina the other day with my Big Shot. These are a CASE from the fabulous Cambria. You can see a tutorial on her blog here. These were made with the Stampin' Up! exclusive Sizzix top note die and Stampin' Up! punches. These were so much fun to make! I feel like a kid playing with toys when I'm creating fun projects like this.
