My son, Sam, had a birthday party to go to for an 11 year old boy yesterday. I pulled out the alphabet stamp set , Broadsheet alphabet. Sam had the layout idea. sigh. It does a stamping momma proud when her kids come up with their own creative ideas! We stamped every other letter in Early Espresso Ink on Certainly Celery and Tempting Turquoise cardstock. We popped the letters up on stampin' dimensionals. My kids are catching on to my love for dimensionals because Sam pointed out that we should use them as well. The happy birthday in the middle of the card comes from the Curly Cute stamp set. This was Sam's idea too. That was it. A pretty simple. but attractive boy card!
Sam had a blast at the party! They went cosmic bowling and laser tag at Brunswick Bowl and they did some science experiments with soda and mentos. Sam got him a rapid fire nerf gun for a present. Great boy fun!
I had my recipe club this afternoon. We had some yummy recipes! I'll be sharing the recipe cards with you this week.
Thanks for stopping by!
